We need to know about Jesus Christ in order to follow him. “This is life eternal to know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3).
Knowledge then needs to be reflected in a way of life. ”Be conformed to the image of the Son” (Romans 8:29), and so Christ is the model for all who want to honour God. Each day we are ‘renewed’ by listening to God and His son through His word.
