Oh Jerusalem!

Surprisingly, many countries (especially Muslim countries) are furious that America has expressed an intention to move their embassy Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. Their frustration is both mindless and a lie. Just last month, the UN passed a resolution that Jerusalem has nothing to do with Jewish history! And this was passed around the same date of the 70th anniversary  of the UN’s resolution promoting a Jewish State.

The Financial Times, UK. reports: “The status of Jerusalem has always been a ticking time bomb. The fear is now that the US president has lit the fuse”.

And so truly Jerusalem is “a burdensome stone for all people and they that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces thought all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Zechariah 12:3 Such irrational intensity will ultimately result in “all nations being gathered against Jerusalem to battle.” Zechariah 14:2  Then shall the Lord arise, “The Redeemer shall come to Zion” and use Jerusalem as the centre of his new government. In anticipation of this, Jesus Christ said, “Jerusalem is the city of the great King.”
